Hide or seek….Are you playing the game with the Bible?

Psalm 119:11, your Word I have hidden in my heart so I will not sin against you.

The Word of god is so powerful that it actually prevents people from sinning. When believers “Hide” scriptures in their heart by reading, memorizing, mediating and applying it to their lives, they are protecting themselves from the pressure of temptation and trials. Way to often, people give in to temptation because their hearts and minds are not focused on God and His revelation of Himself through the Bible. Believers should know in their hearts what the Bible says so they stand up to temptation as well as find comfort during times of trials.
