Love is not rude…

rudeness1 Corinthians 13:4-5 “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” (NIV)
Satan has difficulty luring mature Christians into obvious sins such as murder or adultery. But he has a much easier time luring believers into more subtle sins. These often are sins of the heart, or sins of the tongue. Because these are more subtle, they’re often more dangerous than other ones!  Rudeness is one of these subtle sins.  It often springs from impatience, arrogance, or a lack of consideration for another person.

Let’s take a simple example. Did you ever think that ignoring the sermon being preached on Sunday in church was sin? “I already know what the pastor is talking about, I’ve heard him a million times, and I feel like…
