It’s sad to see how many people check a box that says they’re a Christian but most of them don’t have the first clue about what it means to be one. Most “Christians” never read the Bible, pray only when they need something, and are experts at telling the real followers of Christ what hypocrites they are and making up excuses why they can’t go to Church. So what defines a good Christian. As we read through the New Testament we find at least four types of Christians.
1) The Dead Christian
“I know your works. You have the reputation of being alive, but you are dead.” – Revelation 3:1
The first type of Christian we find is one who is a Christian in name only. The Dead Christian may go to church, and may even claim to follow Christ, but hasn’t truly come to Him for forgiveness.
